I try to capture emotion instead of poses. When I think of photography I think of the word “savor.” When I snap a picture, magic is happening inside the camera that makes the whole moment last a little bit longer. It makes it possible to go back in time. We think we’ll remember what we did, what we looked like, what the season was like but these things slowly slip through our memory as life goes on.
